The Chiefs are returning to St. Joseph for training camp according to the Kansas City Star.
The Super Bowl champions announced a three-year agreement to preserve Missouri Western State University as their training camp home through at least the 2022 season. The agreement includes an option to extend the deal to 2024.
The Chiefs began holding training camp on the campus in 2010.
“Our team researched and reviewed a number of viable options over the past six months. Through those meetings and discussions, we unanimously decided to return to St. Joseph,” Chiefs president Mark Donovan said in a statement.
